Source Attribution Policy

Every piece of data, every formula, and every claim on ChronoNest is traceable to its source. Here is how we attribute our information.

Our Attribution Principle

Transparency is the foundation of trust. When you read a statistic, use a calculator, or follow a financial guide on ChronoNest, you should always be able to trace the information back to its original source. We attribute sources so readers can verify our claims, explore topics further, and make informed decisions based on primary data.

How We Cite Sources

In-text citations: Key claims and statistics include inline citations linking to the original source, Reference lists: Blog posts and guides include a references section at the bottom with full source details, Calculator footnotes: Each calculator displays the formula source and key assumptions, External authority links: We link directly to government agencies, central banks, and regulatory bodies for readers who want to verify data, Date stamps: Every source citation includes the date the data was accessed, so readers know how current the information is.

Source Categories We Attribute

Financial data: Interest rates, inflation figures, market statistics, and economic indicators are attributed to central banks, statistical agencies, and recognized financial data providers, Tax information: Tax brackets, deductions, credits, and filing requirements are attributed to official tax agency publications and government legislation, Islamic finance: Zakat rules, Nisab thresholds, and Shariah-compliant finance principles are attributed to recognized Islamic scholarly bodies (AAOIFI, Islamic Fiqh Academy) and classical Islamic jurisprudence sources, Investment theory: Portfolio theory, risk models, and return projections are attributed to academic research and established financial literature, Regulatory guidance: Compliance requirements, consumer protections, and financial regulations are attributed to the relevant regulatory authority publications.

Attribution Standards

Every source citation must include: The name of the publishing organization or author, The title of the publication or report, The publication date or version, A direct link to the source (when available online), The date we accessed the source. For government and regulatory sources, we include the specific section or paragraph number where the information can be found.

Handling Conflicting Sources

When authoritative sources disagree: We present both perspectives with their respective citations, We explain the context and reasoning behind each view, We indicate which view represents the majority or consensus position, We direct readers to the original sources so they can evaluate the evidence themselves, We consult our subject-matter experts for guidance on which approach to recommend.

Third-Party Content

When we reference or summarize third-party content: We clearly distinguish between our original analysis and third-party information, We provide sufficient context so readers understand the scope and limitations of external data, We never present third-party content as our own research or analysis, We respect copyright and fair use guidelines when quoting or reproducing external content, We link to original sources rather than reproducing large portions of copyrighted material.

Data and API Attribution

For data sourced from APIs and databases: We identify the data provider in our calculator footnotes, We note the date and time of data retrieval for time-sensitive information, We disclose any data processing or transformations we apply to raw data, We acknowledge when data is estimated or interpolated rather than directly sourced, We maintain records of historical data snapshots for audit purposes.

Reader Contribution Attribution

When readers contribute information, corrections, or suggestions: We acknowledge significant contributions in our content updates, We verify all reader-submitted information against authoritative sources before incorporating it, We thank contributors while maintaining editorial independence, We never publish reader personal information without explicit consent.

Reporting Attribution Issues

If you notice a missing citation, incorrect attribution, or broken source link: Contact us at admin@primeblogs.site with the page URL and description of the issue, We will investigate and correct attribution errors promptly, We maintain a log of attribution corrections for quality assurance, We appreciate readers who help us maintain the integrity of our source documentation.
